(Photo by Wassayos Ngamkham)Police have arrested a fugitive suspect in connection with a clash between rival groups of motorcycle taxis in which six people killed and five injured at Mor Chit bus terminal on New Year's Day of 2014. Pol Col Torsak Sukwimol, commander of a special operation unit of the Crime Suppression Division, identified the suspect as Surachai Soythong. On Jan 1, 2014, two groups of rival motorcycle taxi operators, from kilometre marker 11 on Phahon Yothin Road and Mor Chit bus terminal, clashed violently in a dispute over territory. Gunfire erupted, and when the smoke cleared six people were dead and five wounded inside the bus terminal.
